Minka-Aire F518-BN 44-inch Concept II Flush Mount Ceiling Fan, Brushed Nickel with Silver Blades

I bought this ceiling fan because it has such a low ceiling clearance and we live in a 1947 cottage with relatively low ceilings. I absolutely love it! It doesn’t wobble (which is amazing, considering nothing in our house is even, especially not the ceiling), it is super quiet and it brings modern elegance to our living room. It was soooo easy to put together! I am already checking out all (!) the other ceiling fans in our house to see whether we can replace them with that product…(we live in the Southeast, so we have a lot of them….). One of my best purchases for the house, ever.

Minka-Aire F519-WH 52-inch Concept II Flush Mount Ceiling Fan, White with White Blades

I was looking for 2 low profile fans for our 8 foot ceiling bedrooms. This fan caught my eye and were ordered and installed very quickly and painlessly.They fit our contemporary style and work great.
Just be sure to program them before securing to the ceiling, as programming either control will program both fans if they are powered by a non-switched bus as they were in my installation.
Quality is superior to most other brands that I considered.

Emerson CF765BS Loft Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan, 60-Inch Blade Span, Brushed Steel Finish and All-Weather Brushed Steel Blades

I researched a lot of fans before getting this one. I bought 2 of them, one for my living room which is about 20 x 17 and one for my bedroom which is about 14 x 14. My wife and i love it. It moves air well, it’s pretty energy efficient and it looks nice. Everyone comments on it. It doesn’t wobble at all either on any of the 4 speeds. I didn’t want a fan with a light because lighting always looks bad coming from the center of the room and it annoys me. I’ll post up a couple pics.

Minka-Aire F519-ORB 52-inch Concept II Flush Mount Ceiling Fan, Oil Rubbed Bronze with Taupe Blades

Recently bought two more of these fans for upstairs bedrooms. One of the new fans runs silently, just like the the first one we bought for the family room downstairs. The other new fan makes a very noticeable humming sound that gets louder as the fan speed is increased. I called Minka-Aire customer support and they told me to return the fan and get a new one. I apparently just got a bad unit. A fan in this price range should be silent (other than the sound of moving air), so if you get one that makes any noise at all it should be returned. This is where Amazon’s fantastic return policy pays off.

Hunter 21427 Fanaway 48-Inch Ceiling Fan, White with Clear Retractable Blades

The fan looks great, runs great and is a great conversation piece. The fan moves a lot of air and is very quiet at all speeds. The only problem with the fan is the remote. Remove the remote control receiver from inside the fan before you install. My wall switch has a control for the fan and a control for the light. The remote lasted about two days! The light is bright but not harsh and overpowering. I recommend the fan and love it but get rid of the remote. Mine is installed in a condo at the beach. The retracting blades are an attention grabber. Love the fan!
