Garmin Astro 320 GPS Tracker for Sporting Dogs (Bundle, US)

Garmin Astro 320 GPS Tracker for Sporting Dogs (Bundle, US)

I purchased this to replace a 200 model. It works just as well but not any better than the previous model in that you can always follow the arrows to find your dog but the compass seems to have trouble staying oriented to the north. I am needing to recalibrate often the so called 3rd axis where you can read it with it vertical is no better than the old one. All in all if you need a dog location device the Garmin Astros are the best on the market but save some money and get the previous model. If you are like me and had an older model the upgrade is not worth it wait for another upgrade.

PetSafe PIF00-12917 Stay and Play Wireless Fence

PetSafe PIF00-12917 Stay and Play Wireless Fence

I have 3 Belgian Malinois, a Black Lab, and a new yard without a fence. I did a lot of research and ordered the Stay and Play and then ordered 3 extra collars. The unit is pretty compact and neat looking and is about the size and shape of a blender without the pitcher on it. I plugged in the unit and was pleasantly surprised to see that all of the collars worked with the unit without doing anything to them at all. I thought I would have to sync them like you would garage door opener.

Garmin DC 40 GPS Dog Tracking Collar

Garmin DC 40 GPS Dog Tracking Collar

I previously had two dc 30 collars and they worked fine but could not find any more so i orderd the new dc 40 and i have had no problems with it. It works just as well as the dc 30 collars. The only difference is the collar is orange and made of rubber and the old ones are made of nylon. Also the charger is a bit different. Im not sure which is best both have good points. The nylon seems to be a tougher material where as the rubber one is more flexable and the hunter orange is very easy to see in the woods. I will buy another one when the need arrives.

Bushnell Tour V2 Golf Laser Rangefinder with Pinseeker, Slope Edition Patriot Pack (Silver)

Bushnell Tour V2 Golf Laser Rangefinder with Pinseeker, Slope Edition Patriot Pack (Silver)

I have been using the Sky Caddie GPS for two years and while the GPS has given me a good estimate of distance to hazards and points on the green, I still found myself with long putts or getting in trouble around difficult pin placements. I have also tried other rangefinders without the pin seeking/slope features and found them too much of a hassle to use, especially with backgrounds close to the green. The Bushnell Tour V2 Slope Rangefinder has given me much more accurate pin distance/slope adjustment information than I’ve ever had before and it’s quick and easy to read. As a result, I have found myself closer to the pin and in fewer hazards or other difficult situations from my approach shots. I definitely would recommend this rangefinder.
