Epson Artisan 1430 Wireless Wide-Format Color Inkjet Printer (C11CB53201)

I have a friend that is always taking pictures of her kids and creating artwork online and asking ME to print them so I decided to get her a basic printer that would do the trick. I wanted something with vibrant color and that did not gobble up ink. Got it with this one! The pictures she’s printed look really good and the amount ink used seems reasonable for what she’s printing. Epson also has pretty good ink prices too so that’s nice. There is not a scanner or fax or anything like that it prints and copies. It holds a good strong wireless connection. One thing; you will have to buy a certain cable to hook the printer up to your computer before you can connect it to wireless. That was a little frustrating but it was only $14 and was easy enough to do. It just seems if you need it it should come with it. But nothings perfect. All in all good machine for personal use.

Brother MFCJ6910DW Business Inkjet All-in-One Printer with 11-Inch x 17-Inch Duplex Printing, Scan Glass, Dual Paper Trays and Touchscreen

The 11×17 scanner is the main reason I bought this machine. You just cannot find this platform size for the price. It is fast and the scan quality is very good. The other features life FAX, print and copy and generous paper trays are icing on the cake. 11×17 photos are superb, even when their source is very lo-res. Brother support has been punctual, well trained and have solved my ‘operator’ trouble immediately…there has been no actual hardware issues. I am Very Satisfied with this product.

Brother MFC9560cdw Color Laser All-in-One with Wireless Networking and Duplex

This is for a small/medium business. We came from the HP Color Laser Jet CP3505n which was the same price. The HP I think prints slightly faster & the quality is slightly better, but it only does printing (and single page at that). This brother on the other hand has a slew of awesome options that we needed & prints more than fine. We needed a scanner that could scan to network folders & ftp locations. This printer works awesome for that. It actually replaced a $150 scanner we had because it’s so easy w/ the brother. The duplexing features have come in handy plenty of times too. Fax machine is pretty standard, no issues there. For the 1st month or 2, this printer seemed like baby jesus in my eyes, it could do no wrong.. until ….
One day I went to change out the black toner, and ran into a big problem. When I replaced the black toner, it was not recognizing that the toner had been changed & was now full. It would just obnoxiously blink “REPLACE TONER” & do nothing else. I actually bought 2 of these brothers & the other brother had the exact same issue. So I scour forums looking how to bypass the sensors or reset the toner manually. After trying every taping of the sensor trick I could find & looking for 2 days I found a way to manually reset the Toner low or Replace toner notifications (listed below).
Once I figured this out, everything else was smooth sailing, I just wish Brother didn’t make resetting the toner life so annoyingly difficult. It’s all good now though. I’d recommend this printer w/ the code below.

Samsung Color Multifunction Printer (CLX-3185FW)

I had a chance to put this All In One through its paces. I have 2 machines that I use one with Windows 7 32bit and one with Windows 7 64bit. They are both at SP1 level. I faxed from the All In One and from both PC, everything worked great. Next I tested the copy feature. Color was very good and Black and White was also very clear. Next I took it through the Scan Functions from both machines. I scanned to email using Outlook 2007 and 2010, it worked quickly without a flaw. I next scanned to image, same excellent results. Next I scanned to OCR, wow it was fast and accurate on Word 2007 and Word 2010. I am not sure what version of the software the previous reviewer was using but through my testing this software and Machine performed outstanding on both versions of Windows 7. At this point I am loving this Printer.

Brother IntelliFax 4750e High-Performance Business-Class Laser Fax

I debated and researched for weeks on different fax machines and brands. I had an older brother fax machine (5-6 years). It worked great but I had broken one of the trays and didn’t hold a lot of paper. I debated some of the Multi-function copier-printer-faxes. For only a few dollars more I could get one that duplexes and every other option imaginable. I have a copier. I have printers. I needed a fax. I receive 100-150 faxes a day. This is simply a great fax machine. Nothing more and absolutely nothing else. It is quiet and extremely fast. “Pick one thing and do it great” – this is what this machine does. It isn’t OK at a lot. It’s great at one thing. It sends and receives faxes.
